Save Lives: Educate Your Employees!

An estimated 35,000 cardiac arrests occur in Canada each year. Survival rates DOUBLE if someone performs CPR and uses an Automated External Defibrillator.  Yet, there is still no legislation requiring AEDs in Canadian business establishments. This is why it is the employer’s responsibility to equip their locations with these devices and educate themselves AND their employees on usage. The more training and awareness employees have to the warning signs of cardiac arrest/heart failure and emergency protocol, the more lives we can save.
